Jim Grant

Jim Grant is Chairman of the Electrans Technology Committee and a member of the Audit Committee. He is a past director of Rogers AT&T Wireless Communications Limited, Canada's largest cell phone company and other companies. Jim is a member of the Executive Council on Information Management and Technology for the General Accounting Office, United States Government and served as adviser to the Auditor General of Canada. He was formerly Executive Vice President of the Royal Bank of Canada (RBC) and also deputy head of its Retail Division. Jim held key positions at RBC including Head of Technical Design, Head of Cheque Clearing, Head of Branch and Computer Operations, Head of Systems Development both domestic and international and for eight years was RBC's Executive Vice President, Systems and Technology.
